請容許學生多言一點。
我建議你可以抱著順心順意的態度去面對與孩子和新抱的關係，即是如果知道後生條件許可和自己條件亦可的話，一切東西都看得開放一點，例如後生提議去某某飯店吃飯的話，可能你不大興趣，但亦順意出席，又例如後生送東西給你，亦不妨間中刻意使用，人與人之間就是這樣，你好我好我好你好，嘻嘻哈哈一番便算。
至於生孩子的問題，如果後生條件許可，那便由得他們自行計劃吧！早點成為父母，也可視為好事，可以早點完成人生其中一項任務，做人父母，可使人更成熟，早點明白父母恩。
農曆年快到，我媽和內子又有新玩意，我媽媽一早說想趕潮流，買外賣盤菜當團年飯，內子認為外賣盤菜不健康，遂提議她包攬團年飯，我媽媽當然高興，新抱仔下廚做菜給她吃，但我知內子廚藝水平是如此一般，我媽媽必定不收貨，可是內子滿腔熱盛，我實不忍潑她冷水，現在惟有兩方面下功夫，在媽媽方面，推銷我所謂順心順意說，在內子方面，推說我願意幫一把，與她一起研究菜式，買材料及合作下廚，如果成功的話，功勞由內子領，如果失敗的話，由我擔負起黑鑊，媽媽總不會笑我太多嗎？！想起他們兩個，真好笑又好氣。
因此，Miss CHAN 不妨開開心心在新年等飲新抱敬的茶，接受孩子的拜年，享受新奶奶的團年樂，我想鐘sir也會覺得很開心。

Hi Gary,
Kim did contact me re a gathering in early January whilst I was on leave. I missed out this one !
Mr CHAN Ming Sheng was the teacher who interviewed me when I passed the selection test in 1968. I was very ashamed for him to take me in to Pui Shing. I was such a poor performanced student. I didn't get any chances at all to be his student. Lucky him ! Ha Ha
The native Aussie is called Aboriginal. I will chat more later. I have to go now, finishing work !

Extactly the same.原來天下的母親皆一樣。送禮何止聖誕，還有農曆新年呢！新抱仔喜歡Hello Kitty 和紙黏土製作的微型食品、家具等。我現在逛街會多留意這些小玩意，選購備用。親家也不能少，總之要當她是家中一分子，便要先學習去「愛」她。

輕鬆一點吧！你的情况極像我媽媽，我如數月前小登科，我媽媽在此之前之後都顯得不安，做奶奶之前曾說担心自此沒有了孩子，做奶奶之後又担心人家說她待薄媳婦，在剛過去的聖誕，我媽和內子争着互送禮物，一個要送運動服給新抱仔，一個要送手袋給奶奶，弄得我上午在永安下午在崇光，轉得一團團，我對他笑說：輕鬆一點吧！現在不是粵語片時代，婆媳只是朋友而已。

Thank you Gary for showing your interest. I can't see there is any problem for me to share my stories.
I kicked off in M3 in Pui Shing in 1968, now you can imagine how could I know so many classmates like Brother Lai, Luk Kwok Hon, Lin Tai Kit, Wong Yau Bong, Wong Sui Ming, Mok Kam Pui (Ku Fu master), Chor Kam Pui, Chan Chi Hin, Wong Kam Fat, Wong Cheung Po, Lam Po Lau, Kwok Wai Shing, Kam Kin Tong, Fok Kim Cheung and so many more......
I was a restless boy who made my parents upset due to the poor academic performance, but the last strike which won back my parents's heart, was to matriculate in National Taiwan University major in foreign languages in 1974. When I was ready to pack up my gears and to go with my female friend, unfortunately, I was approved to migrate to Sydney and ended up living in here Oooo.... 30 odd years.

早晨您好 , 在加利福尼亞是早上。
我們 baby boomers 有很多相同的地方.
Not long ago (seems couple years ago) I can hardly see any grey hair on mine, now I have thousands and every morning after combing my hair I feel it falling out from my head.
I always joke myself that I loose more hair than my little poodle 花花 dose ( she is one and half year of age, white color with silver spot on her back and is about the size of a cat.)
Last month my kids (they are always kids in parents' eyes) took four of us to a sushi restaurant to celebrate my birthday. Right after we sat down, the odd 怪怪的 waitress said to my wife and I that we deserved 值得 the senior discount.
I iimmediated asked my daughter, "Do your parents look that old ?".
(In this country, normally we call those people 60 and older senior)
My daughter replied, " Dad, it is okay, you get a discount."
The waitress made my day.
We experience those mid-life crisis one after another. I tell your guys more later.
Pardon me for not using chinese writing in this because the n j star really killing my time.

多謝你！實在實在很久沒有在這個平台上見到你了，我們經常提起你，非常掛念！
初聞阿仔要結婚，我被氣得呆在當場，良久不能說話，第一句便問他若鍾Sir還健在，會這麼快結婚嗎？肯定不會，那分明是「蛤我」。第二句便是要見對方家長(哈！像不像訓導老師的口吻？職業病又發作)兒子反問我女友有甚麼不好，我認同她是好女仔，只是未是時候，總之好閉翳！翌日回校開會，校長察覺到我很苦惱的樣子，問我是否閉翳外評，我形容自己只比狄波拉好了一點點，很閉翳！於是告訴校長、李忠榮和另一位男主任，並請他們為我保守秘密，所有同事都是到十二月，我『想通』之後才告訴她們。
兒子和媳婦為了抒緩我的不安，兩日後便做了一份「計畫書」給我，內頁主題是「開開心心做奶奶」。之後邀約公公婆婆，弄了一頓晚餐給他們品嚐後才請示婆婆，並請婆婆替他們摘日子。其後再於家庭聚會時向所有舅父和姨姨宣佈他倆要結婚。我的家人都很開心，還反過來安慰我。不過我尚未有心理準備再接受多一次驚嚇，已千叮萬囑阿仔勿如此早有孩子。他說三年後，但願如此啦！

Nice to talk you here.
We have the same philosophy in the use of chinese writing in pc especially to a guy like me whom seldomly reads and writes chinese in his daily life.
I have NJStar chinese sofeware in my pc, however learning to use it appears foreign language to me.
How is your family life? Your conversation draws my attention and wanting me to chat with you again.
Can we know a little bit more about your profile?

昨晚我本以寫了一大段以「我做奶奶的心路歷程(一)」，但最終覺得涉及太多兒子的私隱，故全刪掉。若你見到李忠榮，可問他，他也知道多少的。
「新抱仔」很純，中學時舉家曾移民多倫多，後父母「回流」返澳門營商，她和弟弟被送到英國繼續學業。在英國時，我認識她幾位同是來自澳門的校友，覺得澳門的女孩子都幾清純，而且都很漂亮。她不懂彈琴；但擅跳芭蕾舞。
去年重陽節，首次帶她去拜祭鍾Sir和我家姑，告之他們要結婚事。婚後翌日，我和我家人慶祝聖誕，她主動敬茶給我和我父母親，都算有家教吧！她現叫我做「奶奶」，第一次聽到時，我立即叫她不要這樣叫我，太老了！但她回應說她恨叫「奶奶」已很久了！唉！那就由她好了！不過在公眾場合，我仍害怕被人聽到她叫我做
「奶奶」，我還是需要點時間適應呢！

Hi Gary,
I attempted to apply the translation function in Ms Word a few times, after all, my little girl said to me Daddy what kind of Chinese is it ? It looks funny to her, of course, me too !
I believe, all Pui Shing mates are well trained up to understand English, so go ahead write up somethings in English and do not rely the "machine" anymore. (Of course if you and I have the software package to type/write Chinese, we will do it in Chinese). Remember the joke ?Stirred fried beef noodle (fat white) is translated as Fxxx Fried Cow Noodle
Sorry, I don't mean I am rude using the four letter words, but it is a true fact. Watch out !

It was my stubbon pc's mistake. The youngest mother-in-law translated in chinses should be 最年輕的 家姑 or 奶奶.
Does your daughter-in-law 媳婦 call you in the phone 問安 and see how you are doing everyday?
I think we all like to know your story.

謝謝你！我並未做袓母，只是做了奶奶。媳婦是澳門人，與兒子是大學校友，比兒子年長兩歲，為了能在港居留及找工作，故先於去年12月23日註冊，由於時間太趕，未能訂到酒席，故只設席八圍款待雙方至親的親友(她的父母合共有二十位兄弟姊妹)今年年底12月27日及31日，分別在兩地再擺酒，筵請老表親友、同事、同學和朋友。
當然最初事出突然，我未有心理準備，加上家中老爺、兩間屋齊爆水管和學校外評一大堆煩惱事，令我有一段時間無心情留言，經過幾個月親友、同事和校友的開導，遂欣然開開心心去做奶奶！

In Chinese, "婆婆" may mean mother-in-law or grandmother.

If I wrote this message in English, it took me 5 minutes to finished and in Chinese it took 45 minutes. My pc generated the unreadable sentences and I still had had to modified it.
I think I need a chinese writing teacher.
