Hi Gary,
I‘ve just seen this message. I’m fine and thank you!
It could take me a few minutes to write a Chinese word with handwriting pad; therefore I’m no better than you.
Divorce is a major problem in North America. Recently my sister-in-law, my childhood buddy and one of my neighbours they all got divorce with their wife/husband after some what 20 years of marriage. Feeling sad but they may be happy!
I am still working for the same company (Getronics formerly Wang) for over twenty six years. Retirement life? I wish I could do, but I don’t even think about it for another 10 years.
Nice to chat with you and Good Night!
Mike Chan

How are you? It is nice to talk to you again. Thanks for the info and sent my best wish to them, every body is welcome to email and chat to me in this blog. Here is mine, gary leung@dot.ca.gov. And excuse me for using English rather than Chinese in this conversation. Rayman Lee 李偉強 had been very dedicated and we had reunioned 30 of our students in Northern Calif. We all appreciated of his effort and time of putting together of this alumni fellowship.
It seems your Hongkongers fond of Canadian living style so much that quite a lots of the fellow students had immigrated to the world's largest country. Is it the weather, the way of living, the education, the future or the social sturture made you?
In the US, the immigration had became a big issue lately because this country is flooded with illegal aliens and it costs billions of dollar to deal with. Beside it created a huge of social chaos at the same time as employment, security, crimes, education and socail welfare. This country has enough dilemma to face with, the tax, anti-terrorism, the Iraqi war
and soaring gasoline price. Now comes the aliens.
Hey, how much is a liter of gasoline in your country? Yesterday I paid US$2.98/gallon(4.2 liters) and the price still rising and we predict it will reach 4 bucks before summer. Now we all blamed the President who steered the country into a improper direction. His job performance rating is all time low. Well I did not voted for his second term even I am a Repubican. Yeah, this country is somethings else, we have more marriage counselors than any other country in the world and still have the highest divorce rate.
陳聯新 what do you do for living before you retired? Or you still are working everyday. Oh I wish I would be able to retire tomorrow.
A nice Tuesday to you.
